Who makes your garments, and where are they made?I cut, sew, and wrap each garment in my Falmouth studio. My fabric is sourced from two trusted ethical suppliers, and my buttons are 3D printed in Cornwall from recycled plastics.
-
How do I know items will fit me?On each product listing scroll through the photos to see a chart with specific garment measurements for each size and style. I suggest measuring against garments you already have, to see how it'll compare and choose the right fit for you. Note that my styles are often a relaxed, oversized fit. Any queries, just get in touch.
-
When will I receive my order?Garments are made to order, unless specified otherwise. Once ordered, there is a lead time of 1-4 weeks. Your order will be shipped within this time, via Royal Mail's Signed For service, which often takes a day or two for UK orders.
-
Is there an extra charge for custom orders? There is no extra charge for small design tweaks, providing your own fabric, or orders of previous styles now discontinued. For larger style adjustments which involve design work, a charge will be quoted before going ahead, depending on the nature of the design. For completely bespoke commissions, we'll chat through what you're after and I'll put a quote together.
-
Do you ship internationally?Yes, if your country isn't an option at checkout, please let me know and I'll add it for you. Please note any costs once garments have been shipped, such as customs taxes, are your own responsibility.
-
Can I return or exchange an item?Your garment is sewn just for you, when your order comes in, so please check the size guide and make any enquiries before purchasing. Returns & exchanges can be made on items without custom adjustments. Let me know within 14 days of receiving your package if you'd like to return it, or want an alternate size or style. If exchanging, please allow another 1-4 weeks for another garment to be made. The returned garment must be unworn, and posted via Signed For delivery, at your own cost. I will issue a full refund on any faulty item - I carefully make and check each item myself from start to finish, but if you do have an issue, please get in touch and I'll help. Once safely received by me, I'll process your refund. Completely bespoke items within commissioned projects aren't refundable - but it's an interactive process to make sure the garment is perfect for you. Email me at ellagriffee_studio@outlook.com for more info on any of the above.

How do I care for my garment?Natural fabrics are low maintenance, and getting into the habit of airing them now and again, instead of constantly washing them, hugely improves their longevity and is better for the environment. That said, items will be absolutely fine on a 30 degree wash with similar colours. Leave to dry naturally on an airer, and iron inside out if needed.

Can I visit the studio, and buy directly? My studio is open by appointment , so just get in touch to arrange a visit. As garments are made to order I rarely have stock and sizes for trying on or buying directly. Every now and then I hold sample sales, and you would be able to pop into the studio beforehand to try those pieces on. Sign up to the newsletter for the heads up. I'd love to welcome you to the studio if you'd like to find out more, leaf through fabrics, and chat through ideas.
